After the battle

Heeey guys here's some proof that I have been drawing in my spare time! I've been struggling to apply what I learned from Will Weston's digital painting class to this piece, and ended up redoing and redoing the composition about a dozen times before going for the one you see here, which is heavily inspired by Sairobi's TF2 fanart.

It doesn't look like much, because it isn't. This was supposed to be part of a bigger composition with a more complicated background and at least 2 more characters...but I got tired after drawing the Heavy and Medic.

I used the value-to-color and brightness/contrast adjustment methods, which resulted in a much more unified color scheme and a somewhat Endling-esque style. I rather like how quickly I can polish it to a presentable level, so I'll be experimenting more with this painting method later.
